Turf Masters Brands Promotes Jon Clift to Chief Executive Officer
ATLANTA, Georgia – January 23, 2024 – Turf Masters Brands, Inc. (“Turf Masters Brands” or the “Company”), a leading provider of recurring residential lawn care services and a CenterOak Partners (“CenterOak”) portfolio company, today announced the elevation of Jon Clift to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Clift is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the residential services industry who has served as Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 2022. Former CEO and Turf Masters Lawncare, LLC founder Andy Kadrich will remain on the Company’s Board of Directors and continue to serve as a Senior Advisor.
The CenterOak team has deep experience investing in family-owned businesses and assisting founders with succession planning, and this promotion is part of a planned transition of senior leadership of Turf Masters Brands. Since CenterOak’s investment in April 2022, Turf Masters Brands has completed six acquisitions inclusive of the latest addition in December 2023 of Athens, Georgia-based Greenscapes Shrub & Turf. The Company’s footprint has expanded to 31 locations across 11 states and coupled with strong organic growth, revenue has tripled during CenterOak’s ownership.
